Happy Holidays from Gravitate Girl & Everyone at Gravitate Jeans
Hope this finds everyone well and hope all had a nice Thanksgiving, with time to spend among family and friends. Our Thanksgiving was great, and our day always includes getting our Christmas tree so we can decorate it over the weekend.
As some of you know, my birthday was a few days before Thanksgiving, the 19th, so we took a motorcycle ride with friends to Miller’s Dockside Bar & Grill in beautiful Boca Grande for my birthday lunch. The restaurant was awesome, and we were able to eat on the deck beside the water due to the comfortable temperatures we’ve been having in Southwest Florida. What a beautiful day! We also walked around the really cute and cozy downtown area, did some shopping, and of course got my favorite ice cream at the local ice cream shop.
The next weekend we took a ride south to a place I really love, Everglades City, about 60 miles south of Fort Myers, Florida. On the way down we saw lots of alligators, including a large one next to the road. Seeing it was was pretty cool, but of course we didn’t stop – Ha!
While there, we had lunch by the water and stopped by the Rod and Gun Club. This is a beautiful old historic hotel and restaurant that is known for former Presidents staying there to fish. If you are ever in the area you should stop and have lunch; it really is a neat place with lots of history!
Well, as Christmas approaches, I hope you receive many blessings and have great times spent with loved ones. I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Riding Year!
